THE REST OF THE WORLD: Two workers are in your inventory. First they must rest, then they must explore, find new biomes, and place them in the world.



There are some food items that you can drag onto your character to gain more energy, like grass or grubs.

CONTROLS:

LEFT CLICK DRAG - moves a stack of items

LEFT CLICK - selects a stack of items to move

RIGHT CLICK - puts down one of the item

The game automatically saves every 15 seconds to the default save.  there are 4 manual saves, QWER, saved with left shift +Q, loaded with right shift + Q. (dont hold any items during this)

All assets are made for this game by Divagated (except for the font, which was made by Divagated, but not for this game)

I may or may not have dragged an item on top of my worker, accidently right clicked and turned them into grass. How to hard reset?

How Do I reset the game? 

I removed my workers by what I think is a bug and now I am stuck

I have  a similar problem: one of my worker has negatice energy and the game stops running. I think I have to hard reset.

My Bro over here got -10 and now he can't rest anymore. His life is done, he has a burnout.Burnout

Nicely done! If you are going to continue development, I would do some sfx and music. 

pretty fun and with a few changes could be ported to mobile

Great game! Gives me a sort of 'Stacklands' vibes. I really liked the different biomes, and the progression path was easy to follow.


I also had the negative health bug, but your suggestion to drag food over the worker fixed it. Also, my cursor didn't line up with the UI (if that makes sense). Dragging an item would show the item hovering a few blocks away from where my cursor truly was - but it wasn't too distracting.


A draggable inventory and a way to minimize the 'You won!' screen would have been nice too!

I've considered this game to be a spiritual successor to 'Communal Cauldron', a game I made a year ago for the same gamejam. The main inspiration for that game t was actually Soul Builder, which is the same kind of 'drag item into slot to create item' game that this is.

I believe the item dragging not lining up happens whenever the player is playing in a zoomed in browser. I never had time to test it during the game jam because I only tested it in Unity instead of uploading it to the webpage. If I ever update this game, I'll be sure to fix it.

Hmmm, that's interesting.  I guess I never made it clear, but an alternative to resting to gain energy is to drag food items onto the characters. I believe if you drag some grass/grubs onto the character then that will give it energy (and eat them)

oh

and I find a new bug : In Braid, both cells are put into Vine, and both grids will be cost but only one Rope will be given

Seems like the 50 energy Extraction is bugged and might start even if the worker does not have 50 energy, which can turn it negative after the extraction.
